Dr. Nowik welcomes referrals for high-risk pregnancies and preconception counselling.

Where possible, shared care with primary maternity care providers will be supported and encouraged. Unfortunately, Dr. Nowik is not able to provide primary maternity care to low-risk patients. Examples of high-risk pregnancies include, but are not limited to those with:

• Complex or significant maternal health conditions

• Multiple pregnancy

• Major obstetrical complication in current or previous pregnancy

• Fetal disorders *Please note that Dr. Nowik does not provide ultrasound consultation in her outpatient practice; referrals to Maternal-Fetal Medicine at BC Women’s Hospital or Fraser Health should be carried out as otherwise indicated. However, Dr. Nowik is pleased to provide obstetrical consultation*
